Our Philosophy
The people who hold everything up deserve a place to be held.
Most of us spend our weeks making things happen for others — families, teams, clients, communities. We wouldn't trade it. But growth needs care too, and somewhere along the way the day that was ours went missing. MyDayOff brings it back, and fills it with friends who want to see you thrive.
Nurture & development
We grow better together.
A day off alone is a break. A day off with the right friends is something more — the encouragement you didn't know you needed, the question that reframes a hard year, the friend who notices before you say anything.
Nothing about the circle is engineered for scale. Gatherings stay small, new members meet a few people at a time, and nobody is ever a number. Like rings in a tree, we grow a little every season — and it shows over the years.
What we hold to
Six promises we make each other.
- 01
Off the clock means off
No deals, no favors owed, no quick calls. Whatever can wait, waits — and most things can.
- 02
Care before advice
We listen first. Perspective and help come after someone feels truly heard.
- 03
Honest, never harsh
Real development needs candor. We say the true thing, with warmth, and assume the best.
- 04
Celebrate each other's wins
Big or small, out loud. Nobody here grows in silence.
- 05
Generosity without a ledger
A meal covered, an introduction made, an hour given. Nobody keeps score.
- 06
What's shared here stays here
The directory, the calendar and the conversations are private. Trust is the whole point.
Connection
The best introductions happen when nobody's working.
Members are founders, builders, healers, teachers, makers and more. The common thread isn't a title — it's that everyone here gives a lot, and believes in giving back to each other.
